Job Description
Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Facilities Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team based in Prince Albert. This position will serve our locations throughout North Central Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Prince Albert Facilities Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Conduct the ongoing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in our facilities including manual and automatic car wash bays.
- Maintain compliance with Asset Protection and Health and Safety Standards completing work in a safe manner, while wearing all appropriate PPE, obeying rules of the road, and following all appropriate safety policies and procedures.
- Determine best practices for implementing ongoing preventative measures and addressing the reactive and emergent requirements to prolong the life of existing and new equipment.
- Respond to building deficiencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Use database and communication tools to track assigned work, record notes, and close cases.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in facilities repair and maintenance and:
- You have 1-3 years of facility repair and maintenance experience.
- You have experience and/or knowledge in plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and overall general maintenance.
- You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
- You are honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.
- You must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- You must have strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- You have the flexibility to respond to issues outside of regular working hours as required; a weekend rotation is required.
- Physical labour is required: including standing, driving, walking, climbing, and kneeling; working in, on, around, over, and under fixed equipment and working from lifts and ladders; lifting and carrying weighted material (up to 50lbs).
- Work is both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license is required; regular day travel throughout the trading area and occasional overnight travel is required.
- Safety equipment is provided and always required; safety boots are required.
