Job Overview

Lake Country Co-op is seeking a skilled Facilities Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team in Prince Albert. As a member of our Facilities Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including manual and automatic car wash bays.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety principles and conduct ongoing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Maintain compliance with Asset Protection and Health and Safety Standards, wearing appropriate PPE and following safety policies and procedures.
  • Determine best practices for implementing preventative measures and addressing reactive and emergent requirements to prolong the life of equipment.
  • Respond to building deficiencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use database and communication tools to track assigned work, record notes, and close cases.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in facility repair and maintenance, with knowledge in plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance.
  • Well-organized and capable of attaining high production levels with minimal supervision.
  • Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of work quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to respond to issues outside regular working hours, with a weekend rotation required.
