The City of Iqaluit is looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our growing team and city as the Finance Officer – Accounts Payable Title: Finance Officer – Accounts Payable Department: Corporate Services Status: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $77,162.74 per annum, 35 hour/week Settlement Allowance: $20,907.43 per annum Union Status: Unionized Housing: No Staff Housing Available Under the direction of the Director, the  Finance Officer – Accounts Payable is responsible for the financial, administrative and clerical duties related to the efficient processing of accounts payable transactions for the City of Iqaluit.  This role will work with our finance team to ensure our organization’s expenditures are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Level of Education/Training: Grade 12 Diploma 1-2 year Diploma or Certificate in Finance or Accounting Minimum Level of Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in computerized accounting and accounts payable.
