We pride ourselves on providing hands-on support throughout every stage of our clients’ operations and growth.Position OverviewOur North York office is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Manager to join our professional services team. This role involves taking ownership of complex client files, providing high-quality financial reporting and tax work, and contributing to staff development.Key ResponsibilitiesCompile, review, and interpret financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.Develop and maintain detailed working paper files for review engagements and compilation assignments.Prepare full-cycle corporate tax filings, including all relevant schedules and supporting documentation.Complete personal tax returns and support clients with individual tax planning.Provide coaching, feedback, and day-to-day guidance to junior team members.Ensure all deliverables align with ASPE requirements and firm quality standards.Required BackgroundCPA designation or progressing meaningfully toward completion.At least two years of recent experience in a Canadian public accounting environment.Strong command of CaseWare and common Canadian tax preparation software (TaxPrep/Profile or similar).Thorough knowledge of ASPE and financial disclosure requirements.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial information with precision.High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.Self-directed, efficient, and comfortable in a fast-moving professional services setting.Able to balance multiple client files simultaneously while maintaining excellent communication with colleagues and clients.
