We proudly partner with 65+ mainstream lenders and over 7,000 products to finance Canadian families' dream homes.About The RolePower Network & Growth EnablementThis role is central to the success of our Power Network Mortgage Agents and the broader growth initiative, designed to help agents submit, progress, and fund deals efficiently. You will work hands-on with a high-performing agent group, supporting a consistent and high-volume deal flow, while helping agents navigate underwriting requirements, structure deals effectively, and move files with confidence.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, takes ownership of agent support, and understands the importance of speed, accuracy, and clear communication in driving funded results. You will play a key role in reinforcing best practices and reducing friction in the submission process ultimately contributing directly to faster approvals, stronger pull-through, and scalable growth.RequirementsA snapshot of a typical week: Provide advice and solutions to clients to meet their individual needsComplete and assess mortgage applications, perform credit checks, searches, and other related underwriting requirementsEnsure mortgage applications meet compliance requirements and adhere to lender policies and guidelinesPerform due diligence on all underwriting-related documentationPrepare Signature and Compliance packagesStay up to date with the processing requirements and ensure loan submission follows the required steps and processesCorrespond with clients' lawyers and appraisers to ensure efficient workflow to coincide with closing datesCollaborate and build relationships with lenders.Success in this role requires:Mortgage Brokerage experience is highly preferred.Being a driven, self-starter, problem-solver, and organized great communicator.3+ years of experience as a Mortgage Underwriter, preferably within a Brokerage.Being proficient with technology and the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a Mac-based environment using multiple software platformsWithin 45 minutes drive to our Yonge/Sheppard officeMortgage License (required)BenefitsComprehensive health benefit planSmall teams = lots of autonomy to make impactful decisionsTeam-based environment with peer-to-peer learning opportunitiesJob Type: Full-timeEstimated On-Target Earnings (OTE): ≥ CAD 50,000- 60,000(base)+ bonus, depending on performance.
