Execute preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history. Install, service and maintain production equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on production equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment. Lubricates all moving parts of equipment in the plant processing circuit. This includes greasing conveyor belt rollers and pulleys, oiling gear drives and bearings, changing oil in conveyor gear boxes and speed reducers, greasing pumps, screens and electrical motors in accordance with lubrication schedules and OEM specifications. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to management. Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Communicating with the production team on maintenance related activities. Prepare and submit maintenance reports. Cross-train in other positions as needed. Promote a positive company image during the course and scope of the performance of these duties. Other duties as assigned. Who We’re Looking For: Journeyperson certification in Millwright or related trade preferred. Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (oil & gas, forestry, manufacturing, etc.). Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with CMMS systems is an asset. Ability to read, interpret, and apply written procedures. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work well on a team. Valid driver’s license, required. What Will Help You Succeed:We are looking for individuals with a hardworking attitude, who have working knowledge of tools and mechanics. Individuals must be self-motivated and adaptable to change. Other things that will help you succeed in this role include: Ability to multitask. Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency callouts as needed Troubleshooting ability with multiple disciplines (hydraulics, electrical, mechanical, etc.) Nice to Have: First Aid & H2S certifications are not required but are considered an asset Previous exposure to oilfield equipment and maintenance. Exposure to automation or PLC controlled components.
