Bilingual skills would be considered an asset.Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. What you will doReporting to the Anesthesiology Department Head and the Medical Director for the area, the Family Practice Anesthetist (FPA) collaborates with other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered, Nurses, and other Allied Medical Staff to provide:Responsible for the care of patients prior to, during, and after surgical operations, labor and delivery, and interventional procedures.Provide anesthetic services to patients for surgical, obstetrical, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures, this will include elective and emergency operations, anesthetic consultations, acute care management services, and pain management.FPA physicians can also provide support in the Emergency Department and/or Family Medicine OB service, if desired.Interested?
