Warehouse Operations and Inventory Manager 175 APMississauga, ON$90,000Benefits-2 weeks’ vacation-Performance Bonus-Benefits-Straight shift-Good company cultureResponsibilities-Own and maintain accurate inventory across all warehouse locations, ensuring system records match physical stock.-Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all activities.-Ensure full compliance with OHSA, safety standards, and company policies.-Maintain a visible, hands-on leadership presence while managing and supporting a team of 4–6 staff.-Support the Fulfilment & Service Supervisor in setting daily priorities, labour allocation, and workload adjustments.-Support the General Manager with training, scheduling, discipline, and performance management.-Establish and enforce standards for warehouse organization, bin locations, labeling, cleanliness, and control.-Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, cycle counts, audits, and annual inventory counts to minimize errors.-Analyze inventory movement, usage, and turnover to support purchasing, demand planning, and large project orders.-Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, shortages, and mis-picks while reducing write-offs and emergency freight.-Track, report, and improve KPIs including inventory accuracy, pick/ship accuracy, productivity, and labour efficiency.-Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including reducing waste and re-handling, improving logistics performance, and spearheading warehouse automation improvements within 9–12 months.Assets-3–5 years of hands-on experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics.-College or university education preferred.-Proven experience improving inventory accuracy and warehouse processes.-Prior experience in a role heavily focused on inventory management-Experience managing high-volume SKUs, project-based inventory, or container shipments.-Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.-Hands-on leader who works on the floor and leads by example -Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse best practices-Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and accountability-Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills-Organized, dependable, and safety-focused
