Description: CTRI is seeking facilitators to lead workshops across Canada and the United States on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for part-time professionals who are willing to travel occasionally. The Crisis & Trauma Resource Institute (www.ctrinstitute.com) provides professional training and consulting services for individuals, communities and organizations affected or involved in working with issues of crisis, trauma, and mental health.Facilitators will receive teaching materials, including a participant resource manual, a PowerPoint slide deck, a lesson plan, and all workshop support resources.Time requirement: The time commitment varies based on each facilitators availability and CTRIs needs. Initially facilitators start training periodically and over time our busier facilitators may train up to 6-8 days a month.Qualifications:Education: Graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy, etc.Membership in a professional association or governing body related to the counselling professionExceptional presentation skillsExperiential knowledge of workshop materialFacilitator Supplies: Facilitators provide their own LCD projector, computer, and audio speakers.Liability Insurance: Facilitators are responsible to carry their own social work or professional liability insurance.Our Application Process: Step 1: Resume and ReferencesSubmit a resume with references, a cover letter outlining your professional and training background, and specifically which workshop you can facilitate. The presentation will be delivered to a panel of 2-3 CTRI staff members.
