AssessMed is a true national provider with strategically located regional offices in BC, Alberta, Ontario (4), Quebec and the Maritime Provinces (2). Main Responsibilities: Handling client and assessor inquiries with regard to medical documentationArranging couriers Maintain the highest level of privacy of personal information and personal health informationData entryOrganization, storage, and retrieval of documents Manage electronic and physical filing systemsEnsure documents are properly classified and labeled Document creation, formatting, and distributionEnsure document package is fulsome and completeScan and save documents Daily filingUpdate Smart Simple when documents and files are receivedArrange and manage outgoing and incoming documentsManage and audit filing cabinetsOther administrative duties as assigned Required QualificationsA Medical Office Assistant Certificate or Office Administration Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.A minimum of 45 WPM typing speed Median skill level in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams,) and Adobe is requiredAbility to multi task in a very busy environment, work under pressure of deadlines Approachable, Friendly, Solution OrientedPrior experience using Smart Simple will be considered an assetSuccess in this position requires excellent communication skills, efficiency and thoroughness, service orientation and team building and teamwork.
