Terminal Operator NSB Omega is searching for a Terminal Operator for our MAJOR Oil & Gas Client in Cold Lake, AB. Assignment DescriptionMain FunctionsPerform activities related to the receipt and shipping of all products and additives at the site. Perform functions relating to site operations, ensuring the reliability of equipment and the supply/delivery system. Operate, maintain and repair site facilities in a safe, efficient, cost effective and environmentally sound manner. Participate in activities which contribute to site safety and security, environmental protection, quality and business controls, in a manner consistent with the principals of operational excellence.JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for conducting work in a manner that meets the “Nobody gets hurt” safety values of Imperial Oil in all activities. Understands and complies with terminal SSHE (security, safety, health & environmental) and product quality policies.Conducts day-to-day business in accordance with and in compliance to IOL policies in the areas of operations integrity, human resources, product quality, business controls and environmental regulations. Maintains familiarity with CFO work plans, life saving actions, and applicable T1BPsPursues operational excellence in completion of work/task execution, following the prescribed procedures in the appropriate operations manual, and suggestion improvements if needed within the functions of rail car product receipt. Performs TRT/SAP maintenance assignments including closure documentationActively participates in Health and Safety Meetings.Actively participates in Personnel Safety Management System (PSMS) to eliminate fatalities and life altering injuries (LAI) and deliver industry leading safety performanceWrites work permits as requested Provides initial response to emergency incidents at the terminal, including upline notificationsOther tasks to benefit to terminal operations as aligned with supervisorFosters culture within team that meets intent of corporate vision Company culture Scope of Responsibility IOCO railcar operations are handled according to procedures (PDM) and good practiceOversees the activities of any contractors on site including the issuing of daily work permits and contractor safety related to their area of responsibility.Ensures that Site and facilities are secure via completion of daily site inspection (s).Skills & Qualifications RequiredGrade 122 - 4 years experience in refining or distributionProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note)TDG ,WHMIS Forklift Duration1 Year (With Possibility of Extension)LocationCold Lake, AB
