Job Title: Data Governance Manager - Senior Location: Toronto, ON Duration: 12 Months Exp Required: 3 years of Capital Markets data experience Job Description: Join our team as a Data Governance Manager, where you will play a critical role in supporting data remediation activities across Capital Markets systems. Your focus will be on ensuring client data integrity, resolving data quality defects, and enhancing data sourcing across various environments. This position demands strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience with Capital Markets data to address issues impacting reporting, controls, and regulatory compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3 years of experience in Capital Markets data, including trade, product, pricing, or client datasets, and trade lifecycle. Experience with SPS/ADS ecosystems and enterprise data flows. Strong understanding of client, trade, product, and market data structures. Ability to perform detailed data investigations and reconcile inconsistencies across systems. Proficiency in SQL or data profiling skills. Strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience supporting regulatory reporting (e.g., FR2052a, FDIC 148, SCCL, CCAR, IFRS9). Strong understanding of data lineage, metadata management, Data Quality, or CDE frameworks. Prior work resolving audit or operational risk findings. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Analyze and remediate Capital Markets client data issues across various environments. Conduct root-cause analysis of data quality issues impacting reporting and governance processes. Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Business partners to resolve data defects. Document remediation findings, impacts, root causes, data flows, lineage gaps, corrective actions, and closure evidence for governance and audit use.
