With a massive project backlog booked through late 2027, we are offering long-term stability for those who aren't afraid of hard work and long hours.The Schedule: Night Shift & OTShift: Monday – Thursday 4:00 PM – 3:30 AM (4x10s).The "Night Owl" Advantage: Includes a substantial $3.00/hour shift premium and a permanent 3-day weekend.Overtime Readiness: Candidates must be available and willing to work consistent overtime and the long hours required to meet our project deadlines.AdvantagesMulti-Year Job Security: Contracts are secured for the next 24+ months—no seasonal layoffs.Rapid Onboarding: We have a streamlined process to get high-caliber fitters on the clock fast.High-Volume Environment: This is a fast-paced shop for people who like to stay busy and move steel.ResponsibilitiesHigh-Spec Assembly: Precision fitting and welding of heavy-duty beams, industrial columns, and complex balcony systems.Blueprint Execution: Deconstruct shop drawings and transform raw steel into zero-tolerance masterpieces.Robotic Integration: Transition between hand-tacking and operating advanced robotic welding systems (training provided).High-Output Workflow: Work within a production cell where speed and accuracy are equally critical.QualificationsFitting Authority: Extensive experience in structural steel layout. You must be an expert with a tape measure and have a deep understanding of weld symbols.Grit & "Thick Skin": We operate a high-pressure, fast-paced industrial shop. We need people who are mentally tough, resilient, and can handle direct feedback and a demanding environment.Physical & Mental Stamina: You must be physically ready for large-scale fabrication and have the "grit" to power through long night shifts and heavy workloads.Certifications: A valid CWB FCAW (All Positions) ticket is a major asset, but layout expertise is our priority.Reliability: A documented history of punctuality.
