This role ensures a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests by delivering high-quality housekeeping service and attention to detail.Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards and proceduresMake beds, change linens, and replace towelsClean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrorsVacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furniture and fixturesReplenish guest room amenities and suppliesInspect rooms for cleanliness, damages, or maintenance issues and report them to the supervisorFollow daily cleaning schedules and productivity standardsRespond to guest requests in a courteous and professional mannerProperly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and suppliesQualifications and RequirementsPrevious housekeeping or room attendant experience is an asset but not requiredAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessGood communication and customer service skillsAbility to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, pushing carts, standing, and walking for extended periodsFlexible availability, including weekends and holidaysHEALTH AND SAFETY Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollow safe work procedures as outlined in Departmental Policy and Procedures manuals, including the use of personal protective equipment.Know and comply with all Occupational Health & Safety regulations, as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ministry of Labour.Report all injuries or illnesses to a supervisor or manager immediately.Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee by bringing health and safety concerns or issues to the attention of the committee. COMPENSATIONPay Rate$19 per hour during probationary period.
