Loading Dock Operator / RunnerLoading Dock Operators assist in the daily management of deliveries and loading dock operations, ensuring safe and efficient access for personnel and vehicles while providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Monitor access and traffic within the loading dock areasSafely guide commercial vehicles to loading bays and assist with maneuveringConduct equipment inspections and maintain reportsUse delivery reservation systems and signalization tools to coordinate deliveriesAssign and manage keys/access cards as directedReport building infractions, property damage, and safety hazardsAssist tenants, delivery personnel, and public with dock-related questionsMaintain daily operational logs and reportsQualifications & Requirements:Minimum 1 year relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, or loading dock operationsOccupational First Aid Level 1 or higherConflict Management and Resolution certificate preferredStrong report-writing and documentation skillsLegally entitled to work in CanadaPhysically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbsValid Class 5 driver’s licenceTraffic Control Person (TCP) certification is an assetSkills & Competencies:Excellent communication and customer service skillsAttention to detail and situational awarenessAbility to multitask and remain calm under pressureKnowledge of safety procedures and complianceTeamwork and coordination with Dock Master and other personnel#GTHPGuardteck Security is a BC owned and operated security firm providing professional security services across Canada.
