Fleet Coordinator

Key Information:
Must have a strong understanding of light and heavy equipment, such as fleet vehicles, dozers, excavators, loaders, rock trucks, graders, packers, etc.Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30.Must be willing to work overtime when required.Hourly rate is dependent on experience.Health benefits and vacation pay.Job Description:
Have a strong understanding of light and heavy equipment, such as fleet vehicles, dozers, excavators, loaders, rock trucks, graders, packers, etc. Ensures full compliance with the company's Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.Responding to project requests, this position requires a high level of professionalism and interpersonal interaction.Communicating with field operations to ensure seamless delivery of client projects.Job and equipment planning within the scope of existing fleet and rental inventory.Supporting sourcing of parts/equipment based on field operations requirements.Ensuring that client receives equipment and tracks through various software and telematics.Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills.Strong forecasting skills.An understanding of Hours of Service for heavy units. Strong spoken and written communication skills, with an ability to foster relationships.Ability to work in a dynamic environment while maintaining clarity, focus and calm.Adaptability to accommodate job scope modifications.Safety conscious and aware of the importance of safety at an organizational level.Must have strong computer and systems skills. (Spreadsheets, Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to handle conflict and determine solutions while maintaining a cohesive team environment.General interest in construction equipment a definite asset. (hear the request/problem and work toward a solution)May perform other administrative duties as required.Experience and Certification Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.Team player and excellent people skills.Proficient English language skills required.Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
