We are known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.Role:GRF is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Millwright. Shift: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PMGRF operates in a cold, fast-paced, and physical environment. Applicants must be comfortable working with meat products (beef, pork, chicken, seafood, soy, etc.)Responsibilities: Installs, maintains and repairs all mechanical and electrical systems and all machinery at the plantProvide support to production in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdownsComplies with all necessary manufacturing codes, regulations and standards GMP, HACCP, WHIMIS, MSDS etc.Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration activities. Maintain an updated record of PMIdentify opportunities to continuously improve maintenance operationsActively promote health and safety in the workplaceCompletes Maintenance reports and logs as requiredEnsure all production equipment is serviced as requiredMonitor and adjust equipment to lower utility costsEnforce established safety, health, contamination and housekeeping policies and procedures in order to minimize staff injuries, lost production time, damage, and contamination of productTrack building and equipment repairsEnsure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times and check work area for such hazards upon arrival and when departing each area of workWork in a safe manner in accordance with legislated and company health and safety standardsPerform other duties as requiredRequirements: Valid Millwright license or second/third year apprenticeProven track record working with mechanics, machine shop practices (lathe & milling machines), welding (ARC, TIG, MIG), and pneumatic & hydraulic fields is required2-5 years' industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industryService, clean and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production equipment (freezers, formers, cartoners, tray packs, bread and batter equipment)Continually improve equipment function via design improvementsProblem solving skills and good communication skillsKnowledge of appropriate health & safety and environmental regulationsAdherence to Food Safety ProtocolsWages and Benefits:Comprehensive benefitsOpportunity for advancement (Operators, Blenders, Team Leaders)Product can be purchased at a reduced costAll company PPE providedWAGES: Fully- ticketed maintenance (millwright or electricians) class="section page-centered" data-qa="closing-description">#IND3At Sunrise Farms we are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
