We are currently seeking a **Refrigeration B Operator (**Millwright would be an asset)to join our team at our Production facility located in Waterloo Ontario.

**Shift**: Monday-Friday (8 hours) day shift.

**The Opportunity**:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for the safe operations of the refrigeration plant
- Maintain and operate ammonia refrigeration system, HVAC, compressed air, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Perform repairs and general maintenance duties associated with the refrigeration and boiler systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdown relating to the utilities to ensure mínimal impact to production
- Complete routine inspection and testing of equipment and infrastructure to ensure proper operations
- Monitor and maintain water treatment for cooling towers
- Document readings on plant equipment including boilers, water, and gas consumption
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by ensuring the facility is operating in accordance with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA)
- Assist maintenance team with repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
- Routine maintenance on building maintenance, box conveyor system, loading docks, forklifts, and batteries
- Reporting to Chief Refrigeration Operator/Maintenance Coordinator
- Ability to work in noisy conditions, in a cold environment and occasionally from heights

**Qualifications for this position include**:

- Class “B” Refrigeration Operator designation
- Millwright and/or Electrician would be an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience within a TSSA-regulated ammonia facility
- Knowledge and experience on Ammonia Refrigeration Systems
- 2-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing plant ( Refrigeration experience a must)
