With a proactive mindset and a keen eye for detail, they independently identify solutions and uphold the highest standards with minimal supervision.The role is responsible for ensuring products meet the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) following all applicable regulatory, customer, and SKYTRAC requirements. This is done by independent oversight of Operations processes in the manufacturing, maintenance, and supply chain departments.Responsibilities include:Perform routine quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing services and productsReview final products for cosmetic standards and ensure that all applicable documents and traceability are in accordance with the processesAuthorize and sign of Transport Canada Form Ones and Certificates of Conformance for finished productsAssist in First Article Inspections as applicableAssist the Receiving department by measuring incoming part dimensions, examining, and comparing parts and products to the approved engineering drawingsInterface with Suppliers on non-conforming parts and following up with NCRs and root cause analysis’s when applicableReview supplier KPI’s and following up with non-conforming or low performing suppliersAssist with the creation of Supplier ScorecardsAssist with Supplier questionnaires as requiredDocument inspection findings, and completing detailed reports and performance recordsParticipate in Manufacturing and Supplier root-cause analysis, corrective actions, follow-up and reportingMaintain calibration requirements for all equipment used in Manufacturing, Maintenance and ReceivingAssist with reporting on supplier quality, yield and other KPIsParticipate in internal and external quality auditsAssist with updates to Operations quality procedures and manuals to maintain conformanceParticipate as a member of the OH&S Team maintaining a healthy and safe working environment by complying with legal regulationsWhat You BringCandidate Must Have’s2-4 years experience in a manufacturing facility doing product inspectionExperience participating in internal and external quality auditsA strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelThis will make you stand out:Knowledge of electronics, avionics, and the aviation industry and/or satellite communicationsFamiliarity with Aviation Design and Manufacturing HardwareExperience with tools like JIRA, and ConfluenceWhy join SKYTRAC:At SKYTRAC, we are a dynamic team of passionate experts.  We are driven and dedicated; we take ownership of our work, and we are committed to delivering results.  We value individuals who are proactive, take initiative, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity in everything they do.  We thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, embracing challenges with agility. The range posted is a guide and may not represent the compensation offered to the successful candidate.
