*The Opportunity*
We're seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This position is based in our Kelowna, BC office and requires on-site presence in our manufacturing facility to work hands-on with our products and collaborate effectively with the broader team.

With a proactive mindset and a keen eye for detail, they independently identify solutions and uphold the highest standards with minimal supervision.
The role is responsible for ensuring products meet the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) following all applicable regulatory, customer, and SKYTRAC requirements. This is done by independent oversight of Operations processes in the manufacturing, maintenance, and supply chain departments.
Responsibilities Include
- Perform routine quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing services and products
- Review final products for cosmetic standards and ensure that all applicable documents and traceability are in accordance with the processes
- Authorize and sign of Transport Canada Form Ones and Certificates of Conformance for finished products
- Assist in First Article Inspections as applicable
- Assist the Receiving department by measuring incoming part dimensions, examining, and comparing parts and products to the approved engineering drawings
- Interface with Suppliers on non-conforming parts and following up with NCRs and root cause analysis's when applicable
- Review supplier KPI's and following up with non-conforming or low performing suppliers
- Assist with the creation of Supplier Scorecards
- Assist with Supplier questionnaires as required
- Document inspection findings, and completing detailed reports and performance records
- Participate in Manufacturing and Supplier root-cause analysis, corrective actions, follow-up and reporting
- Maintain calibration requirements for all equipment used in Manufacturing, Maintenance and Receiving
- Assist with reporting on supplier quality, yield and other KPIs
- Participate in internal and external quality audits
- Assist with updates to Operations quality procedures and manuals to maintain conformance
- Participate as a member of the OH&S Team maintaining a healthy and safe working environment by complying with legal regulations
What You Bring
*Candidate Must Have's*
- 2-4 years experience in a manufacturing facility doing product inspection
- Experience participating in internal and external quality audits
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
This Will Make You Stand Out
- Knowledge of electronics, avionics, and the aviation industry and/or satellite communications
- Familiarity with Aviation Design and Manufacturing Hardware
- Experience with tools like JIRA, and Confluence

The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000 CAD. The range posted is a guide and may not represent the compensation offered to the successful candidate. Compensation is based on the skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications brought to the role.
