The position provides significant technological support in NH’s “Enterprise Resource Planning” activities, working closely with senior management in designing effective information tools, and adopting a creative yet rigorous approach using analytical techniques to provide understanding and practical solutions to management of information systems.Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions. Before applying for a job with Northern Health, please follow these steps on our Qualfications• Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in a relevant field plus five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in business systems analysis and application design, preferably in Health Care Information Technology.• Experience in the development of data warehouses/data-marts and/or use of OLAP tools.• Experience in financial analysis.Skills and Abilities: • Financial analysis skills to be able to understand the underlying business issue in the many departments and programs operating in the organization.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Advanced technical skills in the use of spreadsheets, relational databases, and graphics software.• A sound knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and RDBMS design principles.• In-depth knowledge of software design standards and methodology together with a good understanding of the practices, standards, and systems within the NHA.• Proven ability to plan, schedule and coordinate project activities and tasks.Who we areNorthern Health covers an area of nearly 600,000 square kilometers and offers health services in over two dozen communities and 55 First Nation’s communities.
