Reporting to the Coordinator, Health Information Quality Assurance, and working closely with Clinical Information Systems teams, Health Information staff and leadership, clinical data stewards and educators, the Analyst, Health Information Quality Assurance conducts information and data quality management activities to achieve targeted information quality outcomes, in accordance with established standards of practice, Employer Policies, and work-related processes, procedures and guidelines, including patient safety and quality protocols. The Health Information Quality Assurance Analyst improves the quality of health information and clinical documentation by identifying, reporting on, and resolving health information and data issues within hybrid (electronic and paper) health records, clinical information systems, and electronic medical records.University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) is the largest Acute Care facility within the Northern Health region, and a hub for specialized health services.
