Read on to find out more We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager (Electrical/Controls) to join our operational divisions across Western Canada. This is a remote role. Travel to our manufacturing sites is required between %-% of the time.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications: Post-secondary degree/diploma in a technical/engineering discipline. Professional certification as an Engineer or Technologist. Professional certification as a Project Management Professional. 5+ years of experience in forest products manufacturing. Experience as technical lead on multiple medium to large sized projects; Extensive experience with: Visualization systems (HMIs); Industrial programming: ladder logic, function block, structured text; Motion control: hydraulic, electric; Motor control: Variable frequency drives, soft starters, smart overloads; Industrial networking: Ethernet, DeviceNet; Microsoft Project. In this role, you will:  Champion improvement initiatives for current products and processes. Support work on capital projects. Drive change through innovative process improvement.  Put creativity into action. Apply your knowledge in statistical process control by running experimental trials and evaluations.  Leverage your analytical ability to identify and solve complex problems.  Lean on your strong interpersonal and leadership skills to build relationships. Establish and maintain a program of quality checks, testing and data collection.  Be available for after hours support on a rotational basis. So, what’s in it for you?
