The Senior Financial Analyst should be results-driven, confident and have strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills. Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for and performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:Participate in the monthly financial close process with tight reporting deadlines, including the review of results and the preparation of financial reports (in accordance with IFRS)Participate in complex accounting files, such as lease accounting and FX hedgingParticipate in the budget & forecast processParticipate in the development, documentation and implementation of internal financial and accounting policies and procedures, as well as internal controlsParticipate in sales tax and corporate income tax filing processSupport the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors as necessaryParticipate in special projects, such as M&A and ERP implementationQualifications4-8 years’ experience related to the role, ideally in audit firms or publicly traded companiesUniversity degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business AdministrationCPA designation requiredStrong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standardsFamiliarity with indirect and direct tax regulationsAdvanced skill in Excel and experience with Power BI is an assetBilingual (English and French), both verbal and writtenWe believe that genuine care can make a real difference in the customer experience, and it begins with making a difference in the careers of our team members.Belron Canada is an integral part of the Belron International family, a global leader in auto glass repair and replacement, and forward-facing digital camera calibration.
