Are you a highly skilled Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) professional ready to step into a Lead Onsite Role? Randstad Engineering is partnering with a key client to find a dedicated expert to manage and execute all aspects of their NDE program.As the Onsite NDE Lead, you will be the primary point person for all non-destructive testing activities at the job site. Your core duties will include:Hands-On Examination: Execute thorough and accurate NDE inspections.Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously prepare all required inspection records and reports, ensuring clarity and compliance.Procedure Management: Take the lead on drafting, critically reviewing, and revising NDE processes, specifications, and procedures.Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all written materials and inspection practices strictly adhere to contract requirements and are prepared for final review and Level III approval.AdvantagesCompetitive salary and company benefitsOpportunities for professional learning, development, and growthWorking with a fun, exciting, and supportive teamResponsibilitiesHands-On Examination: Independently perform NDE techniques, primarily Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT/LPI), to ensure structural integrity.Procedure Compliance: Select and set up appropriate equipment and testing procedures based on material type and specific criteria.Documentation Management: Meticulously prepare and audit all required inspection records, reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and compliance documentation.Technical Reporting: Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise, and actionable reports for engineers and project managers.Procedure Drafting: Act as a technical writer, drafting new, complex NDE procedures and work instructions to meet unique project specifications and industry codes.Document Control: Perform a rigorous technical review and editing of existing NDE documents to guarantee they are current and compliant.Level III Preparation: Ensure all written materials and inspection practices are perfectly prepared for final Level III review and sign-off, guaranteeing quality assurance.Site Guidance: Maintain strict adherence to all contract specifications, industry codes, and safety protocols, acting as the resident subject matter expert on NDE applications.QualificationsCGSB Level II Certification in Penetrant Testing (PT/LPI)CGSB Level II Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI)SummaryIf this role sounds like a good fit for you, please APPLY ONLINE or submit your resume directly to Mina Khalil at Mina.Khalil@randstad.caThank you for applying for the role.
