Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities As a Procurement Analyst, you will ensure Dillon secures optimal value from our suppliers while providing critical analytical support to Finance Management.Strategic Supplier ManagementDevelop and execute procurement strategies for identifying, selecting, and managing key suppliers.Lead contract negotiations with new and existing vendors to secure favourable terms, pricing, and service levels.Oversee supplier performance monitoring, including regular reviews against contractual terms and key performance factors.Maintain a central supplier database to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.Establish and manage a consistent tender process, including developing an evaluation criteria and approval authority matrix.Financial SupportSupport Finance Management with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis related to procurement activities.Prepare and present quarterly reports on supplier performance, cost savings, and key procurement metrics.Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders and invoices.Maintain meticulous procurement records for audit and reporting purposes.Innovation & EfficiencyAnalyze current procurement workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities to enhance efficiencies.Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies or automation tools to streamline the procure-to-pay lifecycle.Lead projects to implement new procurement systems and processes, driving adoption across the organization. Qualifications Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Or a minimum 5+ years of experience in a procurement, strategic sourcing, or financial analyst role would be considered an asset.
