**The Opportunity**

As a Purchasing Analyst at our new London manufacturing facility, you will play a key role in supporting and managing all procurement activities related to production equipment and materials. Reporting directly to the site president, you will ensure procurement processes are aligned with project timelines, budget expectations, and quality standards. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team and make a significant impact in a start-up manufacturing environment.

**What You Will Do**
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of equipment and materials.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers; establish and manage strong vendor relationships.
- Negotiate favorable contract terms to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising on quality.
- Monitor procurement budgets and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, logistics, and inventory teams to meet project requirements.
- Mitigate risks by anticipating supply chain disruptions and implementing proactive solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reporting on purchasing activities.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the site leadership.

**What You Bring**
- 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Proven background in procurement of manufacturing equipment.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, purchasing, or operations.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience negotiating supplier agreements and resolving conflicts.
- Proficiency with data analysis and budgeting.

**Assets**

- Experience in medical device manufacturing or related sectors.
- Previous involvement in factory start-up projects.
- Engineering background (mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing).
- Experience working in fast-paced or dynamic environments.
