OverviewThe PFC Cost Accounting Finance Manager (18-month contract) role is responsible for managing the cost accounting function to ensure accurate recording of cost of sales and inventory, including leading the period close process. This includes partnering with cross functional teams such as operations, plant performance managers, and supply chain finance to ensure financials are accurate, as well as oversees the standard costing process for all inventory for Quaker and Frito Lay Canada. The PFC Finance Manager role will play a critical part in supporting with Quaker PGT implementation and FLC PGT stabilization. This includes supporting in variance investigation and helping cross functional partners understand their resultsEnsure that internal accounting processes, procedures and SOX controls are completed and compliant with accounting standardsLead the costing AOP process, ensuring that all standard costing elements are loaded accurately and timelySupport the team through Quaker PGT implementation and FLC PGT stabilizationManage the change agenda as the business continues to evolve (new processes, new systems, new technology)Manage a team of 5 QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA designation requiredStrong analytical and problem solving skillsKnowledge of SAP or similar ERP system required Strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise on financial transaction reporting related to manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain costs, including hedge accounting required Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with employees across the organization ranging from site resources to senior managementStrong people leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams required Advanced Microsoft Excel SkillsAbility to embrace changeWhy work at PepsiCoAt PepsiCo, you’re invited to be a part of a global team of innovators who make, move, and sell these products—which are enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a day.
