This Working Manufacturing Team Lead Position Features:• Direct Hire Position• Straight Day shift• Transit accessible• Great Pay to $62KImmediate need for working manufacturing team lead seekingHours: 7:00 am to 3:30 Pm Monday to FridayPay : $30.00About the roleoversees the production, repair, inspection, and testing of aircraft commutators and related electrical rotating components. This role ensures all work is performed in compliance with aviation regulations, company standards, and quality requirements. The supervisor leads a team of technicians, manages workflow, coordinates with engineering and quality departments, and ensures safe and efficient operations in the component shop.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management•Supervise, train, and mentor technicians involved in commutator assembly, repair, machining, and inspection.•Assign daily tasks and monitor progress to ensure deadlines, safety, and quality standards are met.•Conduct performance evaluations and support continuous skill development.Technical Oversight•Oversee the disassembly, refurbishment, rewinding, machining, balancing, and reassembly of aircraft commutators and rotating electrical components.•Ensure compliance with OEM manuals, CMMs, engineering drawings, and aviation regulatory requirements (FAA/EASA/etc.).•Troubleshoot complex electrical/mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to staff.•Approve inspections, test results, and final work sign-offs within authorized scope.Quality & Compliance•Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, including AS9100, ISO, or internal QMS requirements.•Ensure all work is documented accurately in maintenance records, travelers, and shop logs.•Coordinate with Quality Assurance during audits, inspections, and corrective actions.•Verify tooling calibration, shop cleanliness, and technical documentation status.Workflow & Process Management•Plan and manage shop workload, material availability, and equipment readiness.•Ensure compliance with safety protocols, EHS rules, and hazard-prevention measures.Required Qualifications•Technical diploma or degree in aviation maintenance, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).•Minimum 3–5 years of experience in machine shop working with electrical component maintenance/overhaul.•Strong knowledge of commutators, DC motors, generators, or rotating electrical machinery.•Experience reading engineering drawings, CMMs, and wiring schematics.•Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.Key Skills & Competencies•Strong leadership and communication abilities•Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills•High attention to detail and commitment to quality•Ability to manage workflow and prioritize tasks•Knowledge of industry safety and compliance requirements•Proficiency with shop equipment (lathe, balancing machines, test benches, measuring tools)Disclaimer: This is currently for an active job opportunity.By applying, you will be part of our trusted network, ensuring our recruiters match you with suitable roles.
