Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure technologies and a passion for developing robust data solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Azure Data Engineering. Experience with Azure Databricks. Strong skills in Pyspark. Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF). Strong proficiency in ETL tools and technology. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge of Hive. Experience with Big Data technologies. Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts. Familiarity with TD Cloud framework. Experience with Python and Pandas. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Design and implement robust backend solutions using Python and .bat scripts. Optimize SQL database schemas and write efficient queries. Take ownership of backend development tasks and resolve issues independently. Implement performance optimizations and conduct regular monitoring for maintenance. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for backend code and database structures. Collaborate with IT professionals to integrate backend components within the system architecture.
