To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visit | | Responsibilities Injection Molding Machine setups and troubleshootingSet cycle times, clamp tonnage, size, color, etc. to ensure product meets quality standardsTroubleshoot and adjust machine settings to resolve flash, shorting, pinching, burning or other defectsWork collaboratively with Quality Control department to ensure adjustments for weight or size are completed as neededComplete insert changes, color changes, resin and regrind changesRepair loadersPerform startup and shutdowns of plantAssist Auxiliary departmentInstall, adjust and remove auxiliary equipment as requiredAdjust handle, gasket or other auxiliary equipment Check and sign off on auxiliary equipmentAssist Maintenance departmentRepair oil leaksClear feed throatRepair water leaksAssist with mold maintenanceComplete basic electrical troubleshootingUnplug tipsPull plugsPull and install moldsDeice towersOther duties that may be requiredEnsure production facility remains clean and, organized and in a safe condition Monitor and reduce rejects and ensure recording is accurateConduct visual inspections on productConfirm and unload rail carsCheck Reject Sheets from operators and input in computerInform staff of upcoming product changes and update product and packaging information as requiredSafely operate overhead crane, man lift, acetylene torch, and forkliftsMonitor and reduce rejects and ensure recording is accurateAssist with staff breaksOrganize and monitor floor supportAttend and prepare updates for production meetingsAnswer help buttons Qualifications Judgement – Ability to use sound reasoning when faced with various issues.
