Work must be done in a safe and efficient manner and comply with all Stackpole International’s Health & Safety policies, procedures and quality systems. Working knowledge with SPS, 5S and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities are required. Work must be done in a safe and efficient manner and comply with all Stackpole International’s Health & Safety policies, procedures and quality systems.Why You’ll Love Working Here:Career Advancement: Clear career paths and opportunities for advancement within the company.Employee Well-being: Focus on employee health and well-being with various wellness programs and initiatives.Sustainability Commitment: Work for a company committed to sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.Inclusive Workplace: An inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees are valued and respected.What You’ll Be Doing:Ensure machines are setup to machine the required partsInstall and remove spindle chucks, collets, drawbars, spindle adaptors and cutting tools as necessaryIndex cutting inserts and make size change adjustments to machines as requiredLoad and unload parts on machines to maintain required production levelsChart SPC data as determined by process sheet specificationsEnsure that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety Systems are met.Other duties as required.What We’re Looking For:High School diploma or equivalentComputer Numerical Control Machining Program Certificate in progressMust have working knowledge of machining principles and practicesFamiliar with CNC controls and programming techniquesExperience working in a manufacturing environment, in the automotive industry is an asset.Good mathematical and analytical skillsKnowledge of conventional machine methods is an assetGood interpersonal skills. Able to work well independently or in a team environmentGood communication skillsStrong work ethic and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality.Proficient in English (both spoken and written)Work indoors.
