This national team has earned an exceptional reputation through its successful delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in Canada.Responsibilities:Design integrated municipal roadway, provincial highway, transit facilities and active transportation facilities projects for clients in the province and for other major municipalities in the provinceAssist in the preparation of designs, design drawings, contract documents, engineering specifications and cost estimates for municipal road and highway engineering workPrepare correspondence, engineering reports, proposals, expressions of interest, specifications and meeting minutesAbility to liaise with clients and sub-consultantsProvide technical guidance and mentoring for junior staffProvide Quality Management reviews by ensuring corporate policies are followed and documentedQualifications:Minimum 4 years of experience in the transportation design engineering field preferably with local experience in the consulting industryPost-secondary education in Civil EngineeringP.Eng. designation or ability to registerKnowledge of applicable design standardsOutstanding communication, documentation and proposal writing skillsPast experience in contract administration is an assetJob Type:RegularJob Profile: For internal useTransportation Civil Engineering IIIAttention Staffing & Recruitment Agencies: Morrison Hershfield, now Stantec, will not pay fees for recruitment activities related to the hiring of a candidate unless a written service agreement has been established between a duly authorized representative of our Corporate Human Resources department and the recruitment/placement firm.
