We’re looking for an experienced Manager, Residential Operations to oversee a dynamic portfolio of residential properties, ensuring operational excellence, high tenant satisfaction, and strong financial outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact—enhancing living experiences while ensuring each asset performs at its highest potential.Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year, plus a monthly car allowanceWhat you’ll get to do:Operational LeadershipManage daily site operations, inspections, and capital improvement projects; uphold high standards across all common areas and building systems.Tenant RelationsBuild lasting resident relationships by addressing concerns, ensuring service excellence, and supporting long-term retention.Financial PerformanceOversee rent collection, budget management, variance analysis, and reporting; support leasing efforts to drive occupancy and ROI.Team & Vendor OversightLead on-site teams and external service providers to ensure timely, quality service and cost-effective operations.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure full regulatory compliance with applicable legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act; maintain detailed documentation and proactively manage risk.Innovation & OptimizationLeverage new tools, technologies, and practices to improve property performance and uncover cost-saving opportunities.Stakeholder EngagementCommunicate regularly with leadership, provide reporting, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Who You AreMinimum 5 years of experience in residential property management, including leadership in a multi-site environmentCertificate or degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related fieldCPM, IHM, or similar professional designation considered an assetStrong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and municipal legislationProficient in Yardi and Microsoft Office SuiteProven leadership, people management, and vendor coordination skillsExcellent communication, diplomacy, and conflict-resolution abilitiesHighly organized, adaptable, and resourceful, with a commitment to continuous improvementValid driver’s license and reliable transportation
