This program is instrumental in the post-secondary decision-making process. The Summer Brock Ambassador will be responsible for communicating with prospective students and guests to ensure the advantages of pursuing their post-secondary education at Brock University are clearly demonstrated. This is a significant role as there is a growing importance and demand for campus visits. It is essential that guests experience a positive on-campus visit and that the Summer Brock Ambassador is equipped to offer a comprehensive tour and communicate pertinent information effectively.Position SummaryThe Summer Brock Ambassador will be responsible for the coordination and execution of the Summer Campus Visit program. The Summer Brock Ambassador will conduct in-person and/or virtual campus tours twice daily, sharing their love of Brock and introducing prospective students and their families to campus life. They will collaborate with other academic and student service departments to ensure adequate support staff is accessible when necessary to provide a complete and meaningful campus experience.The Summer Brock Ambassador (Campus Tour Guide) will:Customer ServiceGreet campus visitors and reach above and beyond to make them feel welcome and important.Provide the utmost care and attention to guests to ensure their inquiries are addressed in an appropriate and professional manner.Observe customer service practices and suggest methods for improvement.Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of Brock content.Student Recruitment SupportDemonstrate superior professionalism and behaviour that indicates a personal commitment to innovation, teamwork, flexibility and integrity.Assist in the administrative coordination of the Campus Visit Program.Liaise with academic and student service departments at Brock University.Prepare training resources such as tour scripts and update content for fall Ambassador training.Information DeliveryDeliver important information to prospective students and guests via campus tours and in one-on-one settings.Facilitate in-person and/or virtual campus tours for prospective students and guests twice daily.Customize tours for special groups visiting campus.CommunicationsMonitor and respond to emails from and .Deliver important information to prospective students via telephone and email.Other duties as assignedKey Skills and ExperienceMust be an undergraduate student at Brock University for the 2026-2027 school year (Fall/Winter)Experience as a Brock Ambassador (Campus Tour Guide) is preferred.A love of Brock, including experience participating in a wide range of Brock-related activities.Superior professionalism and behaviour that indicates a personal commitment to innovation, teamwork, flexibility, and integrity.Knowledge of the programs and student services available at Brock.Superior oral and written communication skills.Excellent planning and organizational skills, and attention to detail.Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative.Strong leadership abilities, interpersonal skills, and an energetic and positive attitude.Superior customer service and active listening skills.Creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm, reliability, and punctuality.Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Application This position is open to current Brock students.
