Job Posting Swim Director Camp Tamakwa is hiring a Swim Director for 2026 Swimming is one of the busiest activities at camp and the only activity that has every camper in camp visits on a daily basis. The Swim Director leads the operations of the swim dock. This includes, but is not limited to, staff management, camper management, staff training, coordinate camper swim classes, oversee camper reports cards, teach/examine advanced certifications for campers, adhere to public health and camp safety guidelines, staffing for non-activity period programming (such as General Swim and All Day Programs) as well as ensuring that staff and campers follow the Swim Docks Safety Rules at ALL TIMES. Requirements: Lifesaving Instructor & Lifesaving Swim Instructors National Lifeguard Standard First Aid/CPR C Examiners (up to Bronze Cross) – recommended Standard First Aid/CPR C Instructor – recommended Lifesaving & Swim Instructor Trainer -recommended The ideal candidate has all of the requirements above combined with excellent communication skills, ability to lead a team, excellent organizational skills, loves the outdoors and working with children.
