They will work with a team of individuals to promote evidence-based practices and create a culture of continuous improvement. The Lead/Liaison will be responsible for communicating effectively with Site Lead, Director, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals and deliverables within projected timelines.Responsibilities:Lead BPSO implementation at CAMHUnderstanding and embracing implementation science within an evidence-based frameworkLead change and promote best practices within the organizationDelegate and follow up on BPSO-related activities and deliverablesFlexibility to work on projects and meet deadlines within the dedicated time for BPSO activitiesLead meetings and BPSO-related activitiesIntegrate best practices into existing policies, workflows, routines, and roles across the organizationCommunicate BPSO work with staff through education, newsletters, bulletin boards, and social mediaEmpower and develop staff to become champions through recruitment, capacity development, and retentionDevelop presentations and present to small and large groups at local/regional conferences and webinarsDevelop a sustainability plan to maintain an evidence-based culture within the organizationCommunicate effectively with Site Lead on BPSO progressDemonstrate commitment, knowledge, skill, judgment, and motivation to support the implementation of BPGsCritically linking BPG implementation with CAHM existing strategic plans and quality improvement projectsAttendance and active participation in RNAO-hosted knowledge exchange initiativesRepresent CAMH at progress/final report review meetings with the RNAOCollaborate with BPG implementation Site Lead and/or CAMH Data Management for data collection, tracking, submission, and evaluationGain foundational knowledge of BPG implementation through workshops, institutes, and implementation toolsCollaborate with the Site lead to create a succession plan to ensure continuity of evidence-based work in case of unavailability Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in nursing, or a related field requiredMasters degree in nursing, or a related field requiredExperience in project management and leading teamsExperience in implementation science and best practices preferredSkills and knowledge to lead changeAbility to delegate and follow-up on BPSO-related activities and deliverablesFlexibility to work on projects and meet deadlines within dedicated time for BPSO activitiesAbility to lead meetings and BPSO-related activitiesAbility to create a BPSO footprint within the organization and promote an evidence-based cultureAbility to develop presentations and present to small and large groupsAbility (or a willingness to learn) to develop a sustainability plan to maintain an evidence-based cultureInitiative to work independently and overcome barriers and competing prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively with Site Lead(s) and teamsCommitment, knowledge, skill, judgment, and motivation to support implementation of BPGUnderstanding and embrace of implementation science within an evidence-based frameworkCritical thinking skills to link BPG implementation with existing strategic plans and QIP
