The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a part‑time, contract (1 year) Advanced Practice Clinical Leader (APCL), IYS Clinical Competencies for the pan‑Canadian Integrated Youth Services (IYS) Collaboration Centre. Reporting to the Collaboration Centre Scientific Director, the successful candidate will provide national leadership in designing and implementing an IYS Clinical Competency Framework and training program that establishes the minimum clinical knowledge, portable skills, abilities, values/attitudes, and behaviours required of all IYS providers. This role will bridge the gap between research and professional practice into a practical, consistent, tiered roadmap of core, transferable/role‑agnostic, and role‑specific competencies, supported by online tools, educational resources, and training modules, to strengthen provincial and territorial systems, promote professional development, and ensure youth across Canada receive consistent, high‑quality, equitable clinical care. Lead a national environmental scan of existing clinical competency frameworks. Convene and facilitate an advisory group of youth, service providers, and system leaders. Oversee the development of a three‑tiered clinical competency framework. Produce training modules, reflective practice tools, supervision prompts, and a harmonization crosswalk mapping provincial and territorial standards to the national baseline. Contribute to supports for students and early‑career service providers, ensuring the framework and training tools are accessible at entry‑to‑practice. Ensure cultural and linguistic adaptations, including Indigenous governance and French and priority language translations. Support pilots in IYS networks to evaluate adoption and outcomes. Embed a quality improvement process into the framework and training program for ongoing feedback and iteration. Share findings through knowledge mobilization and competency development across the IYS landscape. Requirements Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and registration in good standing with a professional psychology regulatory body (e.g., College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario). Minimum 5 years’ experience in youth mental health, substance use, and integrated youth services. Demonstrated experience developing, leading, and implementing competency frameworks, training programs, and clinical standards. Advanced synthesis and writing skills with a track record of equity-informed practice. Proven interprofessional collaboration and the ability to convene diverse partners, including youth and community leaders. Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in French/English or other languages is an asset.
