The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a part-time, contract (1 year) Advanced Practice Clinical Leader (APCL), IYS Clinical Competencies for the pan-Canadian Integrated Youth Services (IYS) Collaboration Centre. Reporting to the Collaboration Centre Scientific Director, the successful candidate will provide national leadership in designing and implementing an IYS Clinical Competency Framework and training program that establishes the minimum clinical knowledge, portable skills, abilities, values/attitudes, and behaviours required of all IYS providers. Working with vendors and partners, the APCL will produce training modules, reflective practice tools, supervision prompts, and a harmonization crosswalk mapping provincial and territorial standards to the national baseline. The APCL will contribute to supports for students and early-career service providers by ensuring the framework and training tools are accessible and applicable at entry-to-practice. The role will ensure cultural and linguistic adaptations, including Indigenous governance and French and priority language translations, and will support pilots in IYS networks to evaluate adoption and outcomes. Working with evaluation and implementation team members, a quality improvement process will be embedded into the framework and training program to ensure ongoing feedback, evaluation, and iteration, strengthening its relevance and impact. The APCL will work with the team to share findings through knowledge mobilization, and on competency development, training, and implementation across the IYS landscape.
