Participate in a fun and supportive working environment where team members aspire to do what is right and are given the empowerment to execute Your Role Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown is currently recruiting for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager In this role, you will: Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at every opportunity Direct, delegate, and coordinate the banquets and food and beverage outlets’ daily business activities and team members Ensure all event details and function specifications are executed in accordance with the client’s expectations Manag food and beverage inventories, maintain par levels, and provide requisitions and for products and supplies Facilitate regular meetings with team members and food and beverage leadership Maximize revenues while maintaining a high standard of service and positive guest experience Coach, motivate, and train team members on a continual basis Join our mission to ignite ambition, nurture confidence, and empower defiance of convention. What You Bring to the Table Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel food and beverage managerial role Post-secondary education in food and beverage, hospitality, or culinary management is preferred A hands-on management approach and the ability to be present during all peak business periods Knowledge and experience with menu costing, engineering, and food and beverage cost controls, Experience in banquets, catering, and meetings Ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs Proven track record in menu design and service execution About Us Silver Hotel Group (SHG) is a family-owned Canadian hotel investment, development, and management company.
