Field Service Technician

We are hiring a Field Service Technician in the Kelowna, BC area on behalf of a nationwide, well established RENTAL company with a great culture that treats their people right You’ll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs on equipment like air conditioners, air cooled chillers, diesel engines, dehumidifiers, and electrical distribution equipment. Paid Parental Leave.Employee Discount Program.Career Development & Promotional Opportunities.2 weeks vacation.Paid Sick Leave. Take Home Vehicle.An inclusive and welcoming culture.JOB DUTIES:Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, gas, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment.Diagnose and repair all equipment in the rental fleet without supervision utilizing schematics and diagnostic programs.Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner.Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis.Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.Other duties assigned as needed.Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.5+ years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.Ability to trouble shoot and “field repair” a broad range of equipment including air conditioners (10 to 50 tons), air cooled chillers, diesel engines (35 to 2200 hp) pump ends (centrifugal, hydraulic and electric) desiccant dehumidifiers (500 to 1,500 cfm), generators and electrical distribution equipment.Advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.Advanced diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems.Extensive knowledge of equipment.Must own tools applicable to position.Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.Application ProcessIf your experience matches the description above, submit your resume, and one of our recruiters will be in touch to tell you more about the position and learn more about your experience and aspirations.If your experience does not match this job description, we still encourage you to reach out to one of our recruiters, so we can learn about your professional aspirations for future job openings.About BemanaBemana provides recruiting services to the nation’s equipment and industrial sectors.
