The production worker's duties may vary from operating machinery, assembling materials or equipment, carrying out inspections and quality control for the final product while always maintaining a clean and orderly workstation and observing and adhering to all safety procedures while being an active member of the production teamQualificationsAbility to read and understand measurementsBasic mathematical skills and good understanding of fractionsDemonstrated knowledge of hand woodworking tools and the operation of power tools such as table saw, chop saw etc. considered an assetAttention to detailAble to operate a forklift or obtain license considered an assetAble to lift 60lbs- 100lbs regularlyDesired Skills & ExperienceCutting and finishing Read the order information on the tape and adjust saw angles accordinglyMark the top with the cut linesCut the top to order specificationsConduct quality control check to verify proper formationSend orders to finishingGlue laminate edges onto CountertopSand rough edgesWash the top and conduct a final quality control inspectionOther duties as assigned
