Field Safety Advisor

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently hiring a motivated and committed Safety Advisor for our Edmonton locations. This is a field position, therefore travel will be required. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 year's experience working within the construction industry.
Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients.
Requirements:
NCSO Designation is required Considerable experience working within the construction industry (minimum of five years) Electrical or Instrumentation experience or designation (Electrical or Instrumentation Trade Certificate) is considered an asset Previous management experience is an asset Familiar with Alberta & British Columbia WCB Familiar with Alberta & British Columbia OHS Legislation Familiar with CSAZ460 Familiar with CSAZ462 Candidates must have valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid, CSTS 2020 Fundamentals and Driving & Journey Management certificates Must have a flexible work schedule - shift work, overtime, weekends, and travel Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean driving record Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Must be self-motivated and a self-starter Able to work with little to no supervision Must have effective time management skills Techmation Electric & Controls is one of Canada's Best Managed Companies (Platinum Club Member) that provides a complete range of electrical and instrumentation services throughout Western Canada for the Oil & Gas industry.
