Research Assistant III – Department of Psychiatric Nursing

Duties: Assist in preparing research materials. Assist with data collection, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination. Monitor project budget and make approved purchases on request. Assist with preparing presentations, publications, creative outputs. Assist in seeking publication opportunities for the research team. Maintain communications and outreach to research partners and sponsors. Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Qualifications/Experience: The ideal candidate will: be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program at Brandon University; preference given to those enrolled in a Master’s program. have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively; strong written communication skills are especially important possess strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated. have the ability to work independently and with others effectively. have the ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality and research integrity. Experience creating visual creative works (Posters, presentations, infographs) is an asset. experience in trauma-informed care, trauma-informed research, and qualitative research methods is an asset.
