Qualifications/Experience:

– Senior undergraduate or graduate student

– Successful completion of Canadian politics course(s) at BU or equivalent

– Ability to work independently

– Successful completion undergraduate research methods and quantitative methods course is strongly recommended

– Ability to read French an asset.

Duties:

Research Assistant will be collecting data from a variety of publicly available secondary sources on political careers in Canada. RA will enter data set on a statistical computer program and provide basic analysis of data.

RA will be recognized as a research or co-author on any publication arising from work collected.

Work time can be flexible and will typically be ten to fifteen hours per week depending upon RA's availability.

Position commences January 2026
