Service Owner Back to All Jobs [social_share] Our client requires a Service Owner to join the Registries Modernization Program and provide oversight from discovery, to design, to test, to implementation of new digital services. The position will lead Product Teams to develop and implement digital products that meet end user and business needs. This resource will also contribute to the replacement of existing enterprise legacy systems, by supporting Product Directors to develop strategic level product roadmaps and plans for ongoing sustainability, in addition to a variety of other Service Owner duties. Resource will work remotely but must be available to be on-site when requested for meetings. Frequency of meeting could be up to 4 times per year. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site meetings. Edmonton, Alberta (Remote) Mandatory Requirements 5 years’ experience in coordinating with business, IT partners, and other subject matter experts to gather and analyze all of a client’s business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. 5 years’ experience dealing with clients and explaining complex data principles in a thoughtful manner. 5 years’ experience documenting user requirements, business processes, and workflows. 5 years’ experience in a leadership and/or facilitation role. 5 years’ experience in the design, development and implementation of complex IT solutions. 5 years’ experience working within an agile development environment. Desirable Requirements Bachelor degree in IT or related field of study. Product Owner certification: CSPO or PSPO 5 years’ direct, hands-on experience performing business requirement analysis related to data manipulation/transformation, cleansing and wrangling. 5 years’ ensuring data quality, security, and governance. 5 years’ experience aligning data architecture with organizational data strategies and digital service delivery goals. 5 years’ experience evaluating policies, programs, and initiatives using program development principles 5 years’ experience in project management. 5 years’ experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels. 5 years’ experience using analytical and problem solving skills to plan and design creative solutions. 5 years’ experience with BI and advanced data analytics in a large and complex organization. 5 years’ experience with business writing, communication and documentation. 5 years’ experience with change management. 5 years’ experience working with digital or data product (data pipelines, data user interfaces, data catalogues, data architecture etc.)
