Description :Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of staff, including recruitment and selection, orientation, coaching and mentoring, performance feedback, and supporting growth and development opportunitiesSupport a healthy and safe workplace by ensuring that all safety practices and policies are followed by employees, contractors and on site customersManage and monitor the work order processContinually identify and recommend opportunities to improve service to customersResponsible for managing service operations and assets to achieve best possible financial results, aligned with the corporate strategy and personal objectivesEffective planning, management and reporting of service financial results, assets and facilities requirementsMeet or exceed Service Work In Progress (SWIP) targets by effective management of workload and management of the Work Order processRepresent the company in a professional and ethical manner and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and staff while maintaining confidentialityFoster an effective work environment which successfully contributes to employee engagement and the achievement of the business goalsQualifications:5 to 10 years in a mechanical service environmentJourneyman HET would be considered an assetMinimum 5 years management experience in a dealership environmentExperience managing in a union environment would be considered an assetProficiency in MS Office Suite and service support systemsAt Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
