Materials Coordinator II

High-Level Description:This position provides coordination and operational support for materials storage, inventory, shipping and receiving at our material storage warehouse in Cushing OK. This warehouse supports material storage and movements for Enbridge construction projects and inventory of operational spares that support operations and maintenance of liquids pipeline facilities. The position is responsible to coordinate and track material movements, inspect incoming shipments, provide direction to warehouse contractors, and coordinate with Enbridge Supply Chain, Projects and Operations teams.Specific Accountabilities:• Maintain administrative control of all materials movements in and out of the warehouse facility.• Coordinates flow of material in the warehouse and laydown areas• Manage material receipts and staging of materials for use by Projects and Operations teams.• Verifies accuracy of material ordered on purchase orders and coordinates with SCM and Project teams to address material missed or ordered incorrectly.• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for material receipts and storage.• Consult with Project Management personnel to determine disposition of surplus construction materials.• Complete material inspections and submit weekly status reports• Maintains contact with Supply Chain, Project and Construction personnel as well as outside vendors to discuss matters relating to the procurement and receipt of materials.Scope/Dimensions:• Daily activities include safety awareness, warehouse management, material inspections, and review of material documentation.• Coordinates with logistics service providers for material shipments.• Provide direction to contractor warehouse resources for material movements and crane lifts.• Ensure that a high level of customer service and communication with internal and external customers is maintained.• Work within a team environment and as a contributing member on cross functional teams.• Ensure the warehouse is kept in a neat, presentable condition and in compliance with OSHA and safety regulationsKnowledge, Skills, & Requirements:Required:• Seven or more years of experience working in Construction, Quality, and/or Supply Chain roles in the pipeline industry.• Experience using Supply Chain procurement systems and processes.• Material inspection experience with demonstrated ability to understand technical specifications and drawings.• Demonstrated ability to work without close supervision.• Strong communication, organization, problem solving and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work with diverse groups.• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic smartphone operations.• Provide high level of internal and external customer service.• Good written and verbal communication skills• Possess a valid driver’s license• Valid forklift ticket or ability to obtain• Moderate physical requirementsPreferred:• Experience using Oracle and/or Maximo systems for materials receiving and order fulfillment• Experience in a leadership position managing a small team• Experience in the oil and gas industry.Working Conditions:• Offices located within an a Pipeline Operations Terminal with a normal operating warehouse and yard.• Normal conditions include the use of material handling equipment and use of personal protective equipment which may consist of; steel toed boots, hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, coveralls, safety goggles and face shields where applicable.• Within operating locations, due to the potential exposure to hazardous environment associated with natural gas, FR clothing and personal gas monitors may be required while making deliveries or pickups in these locations.Please submit your resume in confidence to paul.dusome@randstad.ca Advantages• Experience using Oracle and/or Maximo systems for materials receiving and order fulfillment• Experience in a leadership position managing a small team• Experience in the oil and gas industry.ResponsibilitiesHigh-Level Description:This position provides coordination and operational support for materials storage, inventory, shipping and receiving at our material storage warehouse in Cushing OK.
