Students, faculty, staff and alumni at University College work togetherto ensure that all thrive in our vibrant community.Your opportunity:Under the direction of the Vice Principal, the Assistant to Vice Principal Academic Liaison is responsible for supporting the office of the VP by coordinating program schedules with stakeholders, documenting and maintaining curriculum maps, tracking and monitoring curriculum issues raised by stakeholders.  Advise staff on program curriculum change policies and procedures, coordinating examination timetables, coordinating accreditation and/or program audit processes.  The incumbent coordinates accreditation and/or program audit processes and acts as the first point of contact for internal and external auditors.  The incumbent will schedule academic calendars and liaising with academic units and stakeholders to support academic calendar production initiatives. You will be well organized, exercise good judgement in a variety of situations and foster positive relationships with various stakeholders in order to ensure consistent and efficient operations.Your responsibilities will include:Documenting and maintaining curriculum mapsTracking and monitoring curriculum issues raised by contactsCoordinating accreditation and/or program audit processesPreparing and distributing accreditation and/or academic audit documentationLiaising with academic units and stakeholders to support academic calendar production initiativesAnalyzing service delivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvementsCoordinating the recruitment and training process for teaching assistantsCoordinating meeting schedules, agendas, materials, action and follow-up items Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of three (3) years of relevant experience with academic program coordination.Experience in providing administrative support to an education programExperience fostering and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholderExperience managing and analyzing databases and generating reportsExperience independently drafting correspondence and communicationsExperience planning logistics for program activitiesAbility to collect and analyze data in order to create meaningful reportsAbility to interpret requirements and recommend changes for improvements to processes and proceduresAdvanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, survey tools and content management systemsAbility to exercise initiative, tact, discretion, problem-solving skills and to work under pressure to meet deadlinesAbility to deal effectively with multiple priorities and projects with conflicting deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and high qualityTo be successful in this role you will be:AccountableCommunicatorCourteousMulti-taskerOrganizedProactiveResourcefulTeam player Note: This is a term potision ending in January 9, 2027. Closing Date: 12/15/2025, 11:59PM ETEmployee Group: USW Appointment Type: Budget - Continuing Schedule: Full-TimePay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:  USW Pay Band 10 -- $72,119. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $92,226.
