What You'll Do: Teach graduate-level counselling courses (specific areas of expertise may be discussed)Foster an engaging, inclusive, and innovative learning environmentEvaluate student performance and provide thoughtful, constructive feedbackCollaborate on developing and refining curricula and teaching resourcesAttend faculty meetings and contribute to our community through consultation and student support Requirements: What We're Looking For: Master's degree, doctoral degree or PhD preferred in Counselling Psychology or a related field (from a recognized, accredited program: CCPA, CPA, BCACC, BCCSW, or equivalent)Registration with a relevant professional association (CCPA, BCACC, BCCSW, or similar)At least five years of clinical experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDedication to equity, diversity, and inclusion, and commitment to the First Peoples Principles of LearningPrior post-secondary teaching experience is an assetBackground in internship instruction with emphasis on clinical practice and field liaison duties Subject matter expertise in any the following is in demand: Counselling theoriesPsychology & PsychopharmacologyHuman Development and SexualityFamily SystemsTesting and AssessmentPsychology of AgingClinical Supervision Help us shape a welcoming, ethical, and forward-thinking learning community, and expand the boundaries of Counselling education in BC.
